How to participate

1. 1.

   Set Up or Update Your MetaMask Wallet

   Install MetaMask or update your existing wallet before getting started.

   → New users: Download the MetaMask Mobile app or browser extension and create a wallet.

   → Existing users: Update MetaMask through the App Store or Google Play. Browser users can update the extension through their browser’s extension manager.

   💡 Keep your Secret Recovery Phrase securely offline. Never share it with a website, support account, or reward page. MetaMask is available as both a mobile app and browser extension.

2. 2.

   Add Funds and Earn Up to 6% APY

   Select Money Account, and add funds to start earning variable yield on mUSD.

   → Tap Add and choose one of the available funding methods: convert a supported stablecoin into mUSD, buy mUSD through a card or bank provider, or transfer mUSD from another wallet.

   → Enter the amount, review the route and any displayed costs, then confirm. The mUSD balance starts earning automatically after the funds arrive.

   💡 Money Account is available globally except in the UK and countries on the US sanctions list. Opening the account and holding mUSD do not require identity verification, although MetaMask Card and fiat payment providers may require KYC.

3. 3.

   Spend with MetaMask Card and Earn Up to 3% Cashback

   Apply for MetaMask Card and earn cashback in mUSD on eligible purchases.

   → Open the Card section and complete the application available in your region.

   → The Virtual Card earns 1% cashback in mUSD. The Metal Card earns 3% on the first $10,000 spent each year and 1% afterward.

   💡 MetaMask Card is only available in supported regions and requires identity verification.

4. 4.

   Explore MetaMask Earn, Rewards, and Perps Trading

   Use MetaMask’s other features to earn on supported assets, trade, or collect points.

   → Visit MetaMask Earn to explore staking and lending options available through the wallet. Returns, providers, and withdrawal conditions depend on the selected product.

   → Explore Swaps, Perps, tokenized assets, and Prediction Markets.

   → Check MetaMask Rewards for qualifying activities, points, and current benefits. Funding Money Account is not automatically a Rewards points action.

   → Use MetaMask Travel to search and book hotel stays through the wallet.

   💡 The MetaMask Snaps directory can add support for more networks and assets, plus transaction insights, notifications, and other wallet features. Review the developer and requested permissions before installing a Snap.
