InterLink Network Details ITLG KYC Phase: Sponsorship, AI Checks and vITLG Staking

InterLink Network has outlined its upcoming ITLG KYC phase, covering AI fraud checks, Level 1 KYC sponsorship, planned staking, vITLG and a plan to include younger participants.
InterLink Network has published a seven-point update ahead of the upcoming KYC phase for the InterLink Genesis Token ($ITLG), covering eligibility, anti-fraud checks, sponsorship, staking and participation by younger users. The update, shared through @inter_link, says the KYC portal has not yet opened and that the community can submit feedback beforehand.
Who Can Take Part and How Allocation Works
InterLink says everyone, including new users, will have an opportunity to take part in the $ITLG KYC phase. Account activity and contributions count: stronger account metrics, more badges and higher $ITL holdings in a user's wallet can improve the chances of receiving $ITLG.
The project is also tightening verification. It says it is using advanced AI technology to identify fraudulent accounts and prevent abuse, and that account farming, fake identities and attempts to manipulate the system will not be rewarded.
Users who have passed Level 1 KYC will be eligible to sponsor others. According to the update, a credible sponsor can improve a participant's KYC priority and $ITLG allocation rate. Sponsors are expected to vouch only for real people, and abuse may lead to account monitoring. Sponsoring genuine participants can earn transferable $ITLG. InterLink's app update page carries similar points on sponsorship and staking.
Staking, vITLG and Risks of Unofficial Markets
InterLink says staking is planned after transferable $ITLG launches on mainnet, with the aim of adding ecosystem rewards. A portion of staked $ITLG will be randomly selected for conversion into vITLG, a non-transferable form of the token.
The project also warned that once $ITLG becomes transferable, unofficial trading markets may appear. It said these can carry risks including scams and misleading price speculation, that it does not encourage FOMO, price manipulation or speculative investment, and that the core team will not recognise prices on unofficial markets.
InterLink also plans to include younger participants in this phase, with additional gifts being considered for those under 16. Participation will depend on eligibility, guardian-consent and verification requirements. No dates were given for the portal opening, transferable $ITLG or staking, and the project's website states that it has not published one confirmed public mainnet or exchange-listing date.
Background on ITL and ITLG
InterLink Labs describes its network as a Proof-of-Personhood blockchain in which users verify they are real people. Its documentation says ITLG is the participation and governance token for verified Human Nodes, while ITL is the infrastructure-layer token aimed mainly at institutions, enterprises and ecosystem partners. Crypto data site Plisio notes that the token generation event slipped from Q1 to Q2 2026, so timelines have shifted before.
As with any token programme, eligibility rules and allocations can change, and participants should rely on official InterLink channels.
